Staff Accountant
Job Description
The Staff Accountant will be responsible for producing financial statements for multiple business units. This role involves preparing monthly financial statements for various entities, managing all aspects of the general ledger, and working directly with the management team and entity shareholders to provide reliable financial reporting to aid in making solid financial decisions.
Responsibilities
Prepare monthly financial statements for various entities.
Manage all aspects of the general ledger.
Work directly with the management team and entity shareholders to provide reliable financial reporting.
Communicate monthly financial statements to management and investors.
Organize financial information for external auditors and annual tax returns.
Prepare cash status reports and manage cash flow.
Collect and analyze data necessary for financial reports and other requested projects.
Analyze financial procedures to recommend and implement improvements.
Track and manage the fixed assets of the company.
Handle ad hoc projects and filings.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
General ledger management
Financial statement preparation
Financial reporting
Journal entry management
Proficient use of Microsoft Office Applications (Excel)
3+ years of experience is preferred
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Management, or equivalent experience is required.
CPA designation is preferred.
Experience with Sage Intacct is preferred.
Work Environment
The schedule may include a hybrid model after 12 months of training, where hybrid individuals work 3 days in the office and 2 days out of the office. Benefits include a full package with competitive compensation, health, dental, vision, disability, and 401(k) plans.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $80000.00
