Heartland Area Education Agency Technology Support Associate in Johnston, Iowa
Description:
Heartland AEA has a Technology Support Associate position available in our Johnston office. This position collaborates with technology teams, other agency and statewide teams, and individual customers to provide both on-site and remote technical assistance and support for technology related matters. The Technology Support Associate routinely collaborates with technology staff including hardware, network and security subject matter experts, developers, program consultants, and others to support users throughout the agency. The position performs help desk system management, maintains training and support materials, tests new features and functions, and provides training to new and existing users.
Qualifications:
Qualified candidates for this position will have a 2 or 4-year degree in technology related fields or 3-5 years of comparable experience. Experience with both Apple and Windows computer systems with a heavy emphasis on the Apple platform is required. Prefer candidates that have experience providing customer-facing service and support, experience with device management systems, and experience with installing, maintaining, securing and troubleshooting Apple and Windows computer software and hardware.
