Floyd Valley Healthcare in Le Mars, IA has a full-time (40 hours per week) in our Business Office / Insurance Department for a Billing Specialist. Responsibilities:
Ensure insurance filing and billing policies/procedures are kept current.
Facilitate the processing of insurance appeals of problem claims.
Prepare daily and monthly bills for processing of mailing.
Provide financial consultations with patients regarding their medical bills and the status of their claims.
Monday – Friday 8:00a.m.-4:30p.m.
Requirements:
High school diploma.
Training in reimbursement/insurance.
ICD 10 knowledge.
