IKM MANNING HIGH SCHOOL 6/7th Grade Science MS STEM BEST Teacher in Manning, Iowa
IKM-MANNING CSD is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in science education and a commitment to fostering student learning and development.
Duties:
Develop and implement engaging lesson plans in various science disciplines such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Science
Utilize innovative teaching methods to create a dynamic learning environment
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
Mentor and support students in their academic growth
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and educational initiatives
Incorporate real-world applications of science concepts into lessons
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field; Master's degree preferred
Teaching certification or licensure
Experience working with students in a classroom setting
Strong knowledge of science subjects including Genetics, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Math, and Differential Equations
Familiarity with education administration practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners
Prior experience in higher education teaching is a plus
