IKM MANNING HIGH SCHOOL Kitchen Staff Substitute in Manning, Iowa
IKM-Manning Community School District is seeking a Kitchen Team Substitute to contribute to creating delicious meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment. We are seeking individuals passionate about food preparation and eager to work collaboratively in a dynamic culinary setting.
Duties: - Assist in meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling dishes - Support the kitchen staff in various tasks such as cooking, baking, and grilling - Aid in menu planning and contribute ideas for new dishes - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area - Follow food safety standards and guidelines at all times
Requirements: - Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred - Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods - Ability to work well in a team setting and follow instructions closely - Strong attention to detail and organizational skills - Willingness to learn and grow in the food industry - Flexibility to work in various roles within the kitchen as needed
