IKM MANNING HIGH SCHOOL Part-Time Program Facilitator for Alternative Program in Manning, Iowa
Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and organized Part-Time Program Facilitator to oversee our alternative program, ensuring that students stay on track with their self-guided online curriculum. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a passion for education, and the ability to motivate and support students in a virtual learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Student Monitoring and Support:
- Monitor students' progress in the self-guided online curriculum.
- Provide timely feedback and support to students to ensure they stay on track with their coursework.
- Address any questions or concerns students may have about the curriculum or technology.
Communication and Coordination:
- Regularly communicate with students, parents, and teachers regarding student progress and any issues that arise.
- Coordinate with the program director and other staff to ensure the smooth operation of the program.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Track and record student progress and attendance.
- Prepare regular reports on student performance and program effectiveness.
Program Improvement:
- Identify areas for improvement within the program and suggest solutions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of program enhancements to better support student learning.
Technical Assistance:
- Provide basic technical support to students navigating the online learning platform.
- Troubleshoot common issues related to the online curriculum and liaise with technical support teams when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Experience in education, tutoring, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with online learning platforms and basic computer troubleshooting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for supporting students and helping them succeed in a non-traditional learning environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with online education or alternative programs.
- Background in educational technology.
Working Conditions:
- This is a part-time position and willbe from7:45 to 12:00.
