MercyOne Obstetrics & Gynecology- Mason City

  • Both full-time and part-time available- very flexible scheduling! Great work-life balance!

  • Join the team of 2 full-time and 2 part-time OBGYN’s and 1 ARNP

  • 600 births/year

  • Teaching opportunity- FM Residents (in L&D 24/7) & Medical Residents

  • Newly remodeled clinic located on our main campus- close proximity to Labor & Delivery, Lab, Pharmacy and Radiology with access to Perinatology consultation.

  • Da Vinci XI with designated OR block time

  • Level II NICU staffed 24/7 by Pediatric Hospitalists and NICU Nurses with access to an on-site blood bank.

  • In-house specialists available for consultation/collaboration in patient care, i.e., Cardiology, Orthopedics, Reconstructive Surgery, Anesthesiology, etc.

  • Regional health system covering 15 counties, includes MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, eight critical access hospitals, and 42 clinics in northern Iowa and southern Minnesota

  • Network service area - approximately 260,000

Highly compensated with excellent benefits!

  • Up to a $200,000 commencement bonus (for full-time/pro-rated for part-time)

  • $400,000 base salary (for full-time)

  • 34 days of PTO when on base; 40 days PTO when on production (for full-time/pro-rated for part-time)

QUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of a medical/osteopathic medical school is required. Demonstrated competency as a physician by completion of an appropriate residency program; board certified or board eligible. Must be able to obtain Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa medical staff privileges. Above average communication skills. Ability to work with a team. Licensed or eligible for State of Iowa physician license; Iowa Controlled Substance Certificate and Federal DEA Certificate.
