A typical day may include:
- Operate the scale which includes weighing and grading grain for inbound and outbound trucks to issue scale tickets, if applicable to location.
- Operate the scale for inbound and outbound agronomy products to issue scale tickets, if applicable to location.
- Greet all customers promptly and courteously
- Ability to complete grain contracts, inter-company feed orders, and inventory transfers and purchases, if applicable.
Assist with inventory control of products offered at the location. Prepare accurate/timely invoices; assure equitable calculation of products/services provided. Daily verification of sales invoices for accuracy.
- Maintain safe and clean working environment.
- Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have:
Drivers license preferred.
Ability to move/lift up to 50 pounds.
Basic computer skills.
Understand the seasonality of agriculture and the in-season time commitment.
