Sacred Heart Catholic School Monticello Elementary Classroom Teacher in Monticello, Iowa
Sacred Heart School seeks an elementary teacher for the 2024-25 school year. The position is full time. Interested candidates should be Iowa-certified (or will obtain teacher certification), should have a deep passion for teaching young learners, and should be a model of character and citizenship for our students. The ideal candidate for this position should be able to:
- Create a class environment where Catholic values and teachings are the priority.
- Provide students with academic foundational skills through the Iowa Core Curriculum of Language Arts and Reading, Mathematics, Social Studies, and Science and, additionally, work with students on activities that promote social/emotional growth.
- Be flexible and willing to help out as they work as part of a team.
- Establish good relationships with students, parents, and other staff members.
