Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Tax Reviewer to join our team for the upcoming tax season. As a Tax Reviewer, you will be responsible for reviewing all tax returns prepared by staff and ensuring accuracy in the figures, calculations and tax compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Review tax returns including, but not limited to, individual, corporate, partnership, trusts, estates, and non-profit.

• Utilize tax-related software to prepare and process returns.

• Verify tax forms completed correctly, checking for any errors or discrepancies.

• Perform thorough reviews to validate suggested tax strategies and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

• Communicate and collaborate with tax preparers and tax managers to correct errors or seek clarification on certain entries.

• Provide guidance, support, mentoring, and training to tax preparers when required.

• Stay abreast of tax law changes and ensure all tax returns reflect these changes.

• Present clear, organized and thorough documentation for tax returns.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in taxation, Accounting, Finance, or related field.

• CPA licensure preferred but not required.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation and review.

• Comprehensive knowledge of tax laws and IRS regulations.

• Proficiency in tax software and database systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and good analytical skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work under pressure during tax season and meet tight deadlines.

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. This position has flexibility for Full Time or Part Time work and salary will be commensurate with experience.
