Job Description:
Compile, process, and maintain medical records of hospital and clinic patients in a manner consistent with medical, administrative, ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements of the health care system. Process, maintain, compile, and report patient information for health requirements and standards. This role is responsible for RIO, scanning, and deficiency management.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED required
HIM degree from an accredited college preferred
Hospital and/or clinic experience preferred
Medical Assistant degree from an accredited college preferred
Personal computer experience required
Microsoft Office experience preferred
RHIT Certification if applicable
