Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic in Muscatine, Iowa

Essential Job Functions:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and necessary servicing on mechanical machinery and equipment

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical failures and breakdowns on equipment such as engines, conveyors, and components of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment

  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics

  • Disassemble and reassemble machinery, replacing or repairing parts or components

  • Maintaining the work area in a clean, organized, and safe manner

  • Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and company policies and procedures

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation

  • Experience working with conveyors, hydraulics, and/or pneumatic systems preferred

  • Blueprint experience

  • Ability to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, bend for extended periods of time

  • Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance

  • Troubleshooting experience
