Responsibilities:

• Monitor the performance of the windows/linux server infrastructure and take corrective actions as per the agreed service offering

• Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software systems, including operating systems, virtualization platforms, and applications

• Create and update documentation related to server infrastructure

• Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders as required

• Manage the lifecycle of servers, including planning for upgrades and replacements as needed

• Collaborate with the Infrastructure Architect to identify hardware and software requirements for the organization's servers

• Resolve technical issues according to agreed service levels

• Stay updated with emerging server technologies and industry trends

• Perform other duties as assigned

• Utilize skills in Configuration Management, Deployments, Microsoft Server, Linux, VMware, Microsoft Hyper-V, Server Virtualization, Storage virtualization, and Virtualization

Requirements • Minimum of five years of experience in a Systems Analyst role, preferably within the steel manufacturing industry

• Strong proficiency in Configuration Management, Deployments, and Virtualization

• Expertise in Microsoft Server, Linux, VMware, and Microsoft Hyper-V

• Proven experience in Server Virtualization and Storage Virtualization

• Demonstrated knowledge of various IT systems and databases

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field is preferred. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
