Position Overview:

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for a wide range of duties including direct receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations, as well as overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, value-adding servicing, and dispatch of a wide variety of products. The Warehouse Specialist is a full-time position, reporting to the Purchasing Manager, and has no supervisory responsibility.

    General Duties and Functions:

  • Be prompt and timely for all assigned shifts, schedules, and projects

  • Be aware of and familiar with the Company

    Essential Duties and Functions:

  • Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with companies policies and vision

  • Oversee receiving, warehousing, and distribution and maintenance operations

  • Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization

  • Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures

  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping requirements

  • Manage stock control and reconcile with a data storage system

  • Perform annual cycle counts

    Position Requirements:

  • Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen, Motor Vehicle Record request, and drug test

  • Experience as a Warehouse Specialist

  • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives

  • Hands-on experience with warehouse management software and databases

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, and other equipment

    Physical Requirements:
