West Monona Community Sch Dist High School Night Custodian in Onawa, Iowa
West Monona High School is in search of an Afternoon/Evening High School Custodian. This is a full time position (40 hours weekly) 12-month position, it also includes health, dental and long term disability. Employee will report to the Maintenance Engineer and or Lead Custodian.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- High School Diploma
- Must be able to have sufficient physical strength and agility to work continuous hours while standing, bending, kneeling, climbing and walking up and down steps and to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently
- Practice safe, proper and efficient use of all equipment
- Ability to work productively with coworkers
- Ability to problem solve and remain calm in stressful situations or dealing with staff, students, and the public
- Demonstrates aptitude for successful completion of the tasks assigned
- Ability to obtain necessary certifications and pass required background checks
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Lead Custodian, maintenance engineer, principals and/or superintendent
