JOB SUMMARY The Supply Control Clerk is responsible for maintaining supply inventory levels within the department storeroom and selected departments within the hospital. Assists in receiving materials ordered by hospital personnel. Receipt of merchandise is documented appropriately and delivery of non-stock merchandise is made daily to the requisitioning department. Stocks shelves with supplies, fills supply requisitions as required, packages items that are to be returned.

Shift: PRN - As Needed- Days-Monday-Friday (typical work day is 7:30am-4:00pm)

Salary: $15.74 increases with experience. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS A. Education: High school diploma or certificate required. B. Experience: Previous warehouse, receiving, stocking and inventory control in a medical setting is desired. C. Special Skills & Aptitudes: Ability for attention to detail, responsible and dependable. 10 key proficiency.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/COGNITIVE REQUIREMENTS A. Must be able to walk, stand and routinely lift 40-60 pounds. B. Must be able to hear and speak for phone and person to person conversations. Must be able to see for reading and computer work. C. For a complete list of the physical/cognitive requirements, please refer to the Working Conditions and Physical Demands Worksheet. The original will be maintained in the Human Resources Department and a copy in the Materials Management Department.
