Overview
2nd SHIFT Monday-Thursday 3pm-1:00am
HEALTH INSURANCE AVAILABLE AFTER 60 DAYS.
Production Forklift Operators will pull rough components from the warehouse according to production need for the small valve floor.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities of the successful candidate include but are not limited to:
-Inspecting their forklift and filling out inspection paperwork.
-Visually assessing and clearing their traffic area of people, objects, and other forklift traffic.
-Inspect loads verifying they are secure for transport and accurate.
-Transfer to designated location throughout the facility by complying with all safety rules and regulations.
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
*Lifting/carrying of less than 50 pounds.
*Frequent pushing, pulling, reaching and twisting of certain weights required.
*Standing and walking greater than 2 hours per day.
*Sitting greater than 7 hours per day.
*Ability to move
neck forward/back and turn right/left, kneel, squat, and climb using arms and legs.
*Repetitive use of both hands and fingers to grasp, exert force, wear gloves, write and utilize tools.
*Frequent work in extreme temperature conditions.
*Ability to work with solvents and chemicals, operate a crane, truck, forklift and other moving vehicles.
*Manufacturing experience and working around machinery considered.
*PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including but not limited to earplugs, safety glasses, metatarsal and guarded boots are required
