1 - First Shift

Are you the type of person who focuses on making things happen and thrives as a single point of contact for the organization for the purpose of implementing change? In this role, you will utilize your broad organizational understanding and expert communication skills to address different audiences and stakeholders to ensure delivery expectations are met with an overarching goal in mind of leading your digital product teams to success.

What You’ll Do

  1. Coach digital delivery managers on topics such as: resource management, communication, collaboration with stakeholders and development teams return on investment and other key metrics.

  2. Motivate a group of digital delivery managers within a digital product portfolio to deliver digital products on time and within organization expectations. Provide day-to-day leadership for the delivery team digital delivery managers.

  3. Responsible for ensuring the delivery teams within the portfolio have everything they need to deliver: resources, clear outcomes and risk management support.

  4. Collaborate with senior management/executives to ensure performance gaps are addressed and closely monitored.

  5. Analyze the delivery team portfolio overall performance against goals that support the portfolio's value proposition for the organization with the expectation that the results and next steps are communicated to organization leadership.

  6. Manage delivery of a portfolio of products vs. individual product with the outcome to minimize the risk to the portfolio and the individual digital product development teams.

  7. Responsible for key performance metrics including but not limited to time to market, ROI, customer satisfaction and user adoption for a portfolio of products. Use these metrics to identify areas of opportunity and work with teams to continuously improve.

    What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Information Technology or other related field with a minimum of seven years of relevant experience with a minimum one year in professional career managing others; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to influence, lead, and indirectly manage others required.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate with director and/or Executive level leaders.

  • Demonstrated experience managing projects across different functional areas with the ability to effectively negotiate and discuss areas of concern and identify interdependencies to mitigate risk.

  • Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Lucid Charts and software development lifecycles (agile, lean, waterfall) beneficial.

    Travel

  • Occasional travel is expected of this position.

Work Location

HYBRID: Some of a team member’s day-to-day work may be best done at a location other than a Vermeer campus. Discuss specific arrangements with your manager.
