ManpowerGroup Project Engineer in Pella, Iowa

Our client, in Pella, IA, is seeking a direct hire, Project Engineer to join the Product Development team; specifically the ride on tractor group. This person needs to be onsite due to still being hands on in the plant. Occasional travel will be required domestically.

Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: Pella, IA 50219

Pay Range: $93k-$120k + Profit Sharing

What’s the Job?

  • Lead and establish multiple design teams to align with the organizational strategies and objectives to drive key business results.

  • 5 direct reports

  • Leads and delivers on project goals, such as test plans, production preparation plans, and product performance plans.

  • Utilize continuous improvement mindset to evaluate how to improve product and processes within the area and ensure that the ream works efficiently to achieve goals.

  • Need to be onsite 5 days a week. Occasional travel domestically.

What’s Needed?

  • Four-year college degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Agriculture or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of five years' related experience other college degree (two-year or four-year) with a minimum of ten years’ related experience.

  • Knowledgeof equipment manufacturing process.

  • Leadership experience

  • Ability to effectively partner with a project manager to coordinate development activities to release successful products.

  • Working knowledge of engineering fundamentals, including continuous improvement and lean, FEA evaluation, stress analysis, hydraulics, electrical systems, design and manufacturing processes.
