ManpowerGroup Project Engineer in Pella, Iowa

Our client, located in Pella, IA, is seeking a direct hire, Project Engineer to help with the electrification of machines. This person would work cross functionally to align with global efforts consistently done in Europe and trying to drive for consistency across the board. This person would be required to travel about 50% of the time to Europe (2x per quarter).

Job Title: Project Engineer

Location: Pella, IA 50219

Pay Range: $93k-$120k Base + Profit Sharing

What’s the Job?

  • Look to be a mentor in the Project Engineering space, specifically with electrification. This person would sit down with Jr. Engineers and come up with projects plans and mentor these people.

  • Travel to Europe (EMEA office in the Netherlands) roughly 2x per quarter. More of a PM to to make sure all parties align.

  • Leads and delivers project goals, such as test plans, production preparation plans, and product performance plans.

  • Hands on with equipment, testing

  • While not traveling, only required to be in the office 1 day/week.

What’s Needed?

  • Four-year college degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Agriculture or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of five years' related experience other college degree (two-year or four-year) with a minimum of ten years’ related experience.

  • People that have a natural tendency to want to learn

  • Prior mentorship/leadership experience

  • Working knowledge of engineering fundamentals, including continuous improvement and lean, FEA evaluation, stress analysis, hydraulics, electrical systems, design and manufacturing processes.
