Are you the type of person who enjoys being presented with an idea or an issue and loves to not only determine what the solution could be but also delivering that solution? Do you get satisfaction from seeing your tools used by hundreds of people tasked with providing meaningful products to their customers?
In this role you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the PLM System Analyst team at Vermeer. You will encounter challenging requests from the business and then develop strategies and solutions that your team will implement within Vermeer platforms to satisfy those requirements. You will be a key member of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) team.
We are looking for an experienced software systems analyst who is an excellent listener and who is also confident enough to suggest alternate solutions to requests that may not align within a tools’ capabilities or fall outside the platform’s strategic vision. The successful individual will become deeply knowledgeable regarding the platforms they support and take great satisfaction in the success that others achieve in using those supported platforms.

What You’ll Do
Demonstrate the Vermeer characteristics of caring culture, demonstrating agility, customer focused, and stewardship and model the associated behaviors.
Manage, lead, and direct the PLM System Analyst personnel in their daily support activities.
Manage the configuration and operation of Vermeer’s PLM platform and related systems.
Establish and maintain user groups, workflow, and templates within the PLM platform.
Coordinate with other functional groups regarding the PLM platform’s interface with other systems.
Monitor and report on the overall health and performance of the product development systems.
Drive system improvement initiatives and coordinate improvement projects.
Serve as technical point of contact for system related issues and upgrade.
Ensure testing and evaluation best practices are achieved for all system enhancements and upgrades.
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or Information Technology.
5+ years’ experience in product development.
5+ years’ experience managing systems.
Experience using and managing product development tools.
Ability to oversee a variety of projects simultaneously.
Effectively present information and training to user groups, and/or company employees.
Advise users of technology options and/ or business processes.
Work with others in demanding situations, managing conflict, and taking ownership of relevant projects.
Experience managing PLM systems preferred.
Travel
- Occasional travel is expected of this position.
Work Location
ONSITE: A team member’s day-to-day work is best done on a Vermeer campus. If work content can be occasionally completed at an offsite location, discuss potential arrangements with your manager.
