Job Title: Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Field Mechanic to perform a variety of duties including inspecting, diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing heavy equipment in the field. Responsibilities also include maintaining and updating equipment records on a computer, welding/machining parts as needed, and handling equipment such as dozers, excavators, backhoes, and more. Training on specific programs will be provided.

Work Environment

Work hours are 10-12hr days with a half-hour lunch. Half-day Saturdays are likely during construction season (March to December). The role is field-based 100% during the construction season, within a 2-hour radius, ensuring you will be home every night. You will be provided with a top-of-the-line service truck, loaded with tools, which you will pick up from the shop each morning and return each night.
