Forklift Operator $19

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Professional, accident-free operation of the forklift, and the precise keeping of the forklift inspections.

• Systematic maintenance and cleaning of the forklift • Continuous tracking of the location of goods during material handling using WMS. Use the WMSystem accordingly and ensure accurate data entry.

• Perform any other manual job at the direction of the warehouse supervisor or team lead (e.g. sampling, inventory, cleaning)

• Keep the warehouse clean and tidy

• During the seed delivery and return season: ensure proper (loading and unloading) of transport vehicles with quality packages to meet customer expectations

• Maintain safety standards - initiate & follow emergency procedures when necessary

PREFFERED EXPERIENCE

• 1 year of forklift experience

• 1 year of warehouse experience

• Prior forklift certification is preferred

SKILLS • Ability to count accurately when moving inventory • Ability to read scales • Ability to multi-task and detailed oriented • Being alert and aware when driving the forklift in a safe manner • Ability to communicate and work by yourself or with a team • Ability to work in tighter, confined spaces with a forklift
