SHORT STAFFED Auto Technician in SIOUX CITY, Iowa

Description:
Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, multi-point inspections, and replacement of wiper blades, following repair orders efficiently and accurately in accordance with dealer and factory standards. -Inspect and test vehicles, recording findings to ensure necessary repairs are identified.
-Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
-Communicate effectively with the service team and service advisors regarding the status and any changes to repair orders,
-Determining if additional safety or service work is required. -Ensure that finished products adhere to factory and dealership procedures.
-Communicate with the service advisor to obtain necessary parts.
-Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
-Operate all equipment in the service area safely.
-Document all work performed immediately upon completion.
-Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay updated on rapidly changing technology.
Qualifications: -Previous work experience is preferred. -Knowledge of basic vehicle systems and technical resources is a plus. -Valid driver's license and a good driving record are required. -Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. -Excellent manual dexterity skills, patience, creativity, good judgment, and an eye for detail.
