Job Title: Non CDL or Class B Delivery Driver (Local Delivery) Location: Sioux City, IA
Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a Non CDL or Class B Delivery Driver based out of our Sioux City cross dock. We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 8 locations. Our drivers touch fright! As a Delivery Driver, you are the team member that our customers interact with the most. Providing exceptional customer service is a key part of this role and is essential in maintaining our commitment to customer service. You will interact with customers professionally, ensuring a positive delivery experience and addressing any questions or concerns. Duties include checking orders for accuracy, inspecting product for damage, and keeping accurate records of deliveries.
Pay:
Non CDL: $20.00 per hour
Class B: $23.00 per hour
Schedule:
Start time 3:30 AM until complete, usually between 12 PM and 4 PM
Days off Sunday, Tuesday, and every other Saturday
What we look for:
Valid interstate eligible driver's license, 21+ or older
Ability to work early morning hours (3:30 AM start)
Access to reliable and punctual transportation
Pass a background check (including sex offender registry)
Willing to recertify DOT Med Card and pass a DOT drug screen
Able to pass a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) and Clearinghouse full query
Must be able to read and write English
Attention to detail and accuracy in delivery orders
Must be comfortable driving a straight truck
What youll do:
SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operate vehicles at all times and follow all safety guidelines
Must be comfortable driving and unloading in varying weather conditions
Deliver and communicate with customers in a professional manner
Unload products using a ramp and hand dolly
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75 lbs. occasionally
