- Check equipment to ensure proper operating condition and report any defects to maintenance or supervisor.
- Load and unload trucks in accordance with Company and DOT requirements.
- Check quantity and condition of material and report any non-conformance to supervisors or plant manager.
- Inspect and ensure the quality of work in process meets companys expectations.
- Mark and package material as directed by information provided or job specifications.
- Safely operate an overhead crane and ensure that proper hook-up techniques and methods are used.

- Comply with State Steel Supply Co Health/ Safety, OSHA requirements and policies.
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of lifting equipment capacities and related lifting methods.
- Achieve on-time delivery to both internal and external customers.

- Participate and support Continuous Improvement Programs, HR and other company initiatives.
- Carry out duties in accordance with ISO Standards and other company procedures.
