Position Overview

We are seeking aProject Administratorto join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the project management team by keeping projects organized and ensuring smooth operations. You will handle essential administrative tasks, assist with the flow of project-related information, and collaborate with field leaders when the Project Manager is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Document Coordination:Manage project paperwork, including obtaining permits, organizing as-built plans, uploading submittals, and coordinating shop drawings with approvers.

  • Meeting Management:Organize and attend meetings, such as pre-planning, pre-bid, and job bid meetings, stepping in for Project Managers when necessary.

  • Project Execution:Perform project estimates, prepare schedules of values, draft change orders, conduct take-offs, and handle project close-outs.

  • Field Support:Serve as the primary contact for field leaders, addressing their needs and ensuring seamless communication.

  • Vendor Coordination:Schedule owner training sessions with vendors.

    Qualifications

  • Communication Skills:Strong written and oral communication abilities to effectively interact with diverse teams and customers.

  • Technical Proficiency:Proficient in Microsoft Office and adaptable to learning new construction-related software.

  • Construction Background:Experience or education in construction, estimating, or project work, with a mechanical aptitude. This can be demonstrated through an associate's or bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  • Organizational Skills:Exceptional attention to detail, ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Technical Knowledge:Ability to read, interpret, and organize construction documents, drawings, and blueprints.

  • Travel Ready:Possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to job sites and attend meetings as needed.
