Lakes Regional Healthcare is a growing and dynamic healthcare facility located in Spirit Lake, Iowa. The hospital provides inpatient services that include acute & critical care, Obstetrics care, outpatient surgery services, imaging/radiology services, emergency & laboratory services, visiting physician clinics and primary care clinics. SUMMARY:

Seeking a Patient Care Supervisor to be an active member of our patient care leadership team. This position provides direct supervision of staff and monitors department & shift flow to ensure quality patient care is delivered throughout the hospital. Ensures adequate staffing is provided in all nursing areas to meet the needs of patients. Candidate will demonstrate a high level of leadership skills, serving as a positive role model, leading by example, and empowering employees to achieve successful outcomes. In addition to the supervisory role, Patient Care Supervisor maintains clinical duties as a registered nurse, providing direct patient care and assisting staff.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

Registered Nurse degree required; BSN preferred. One year nursing management experience preferred along with three to five years Medical-Surgical staff RN experience.

CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE, and/or REGISTRATIONS:

Current RN License to practice in State of Iowa required. Currently certified in BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, and the Mandatory Reporting of Adult/Child Abuse or willingness to obtain in accordance with Education Policy.
