Avera is looking for a Patient Services Representative (PSR) to join our Team!

Job Summary

Performs registration duties at the front desk, checking patients in. Advises patients on next steps after check-in. Gathers information and utilizes the computer system for data entry and other related tasks.

Education and/or Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Completion of the Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse courses for Iowa Mandatory Reporters within 90 days of employment and every three years thereafter.

Work Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; 80hrs/2wks

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

  • $17.50 - $22.00 per hour
