Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist (Seasonal)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. This role involves receiving and unloading shipments of seed corn, sorting and organizing products in the warehouse, and operating various warehouse equipment. No diploma is required, and on-the-job training will be provided.
Responsibilities
Receive and unload shipments of seed corn.
Sort and organize products within the warehouse.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
Maintain strong attention to detail and quality.
Operate within safety guidelines and job requirements.
Collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Essential Skills
General labor experience
Forklift operation
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand on feet for an 8-hour shift
Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work Environment
The work environment is temperature-controlled, ensuring comfort throughout the day. Safety gear such as gloves, safety glasses, and ear protection is provided. You will be working an 8-hour shift, standing on your feet and handling various warehouse equipment.
Job Type & Location
This is a seasonal position based out of Ames, Iowa. Position will last until April or May
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00
