Seasonal Seed Technician

This is a contract role from January-June

Shift options

• 1st shift: 7:30AM-4PM

• 2nd shift: 3:30PM-12PM

• 3rd shift: 11:30PM-8AM

Qualifications

• Previous lab or agriculture experience

Job Description

• Monitor seed workflows and automation to prepare field trail planting season

• Prepare soybean, corn, and wheat samples harvested across North America for compositional analysis

• Setting up and making adjustments to regulate factors (temperatures, pressure, flow, and reactions of materials)

• Support the automation manufacturing process by monitoring

• Manage inventory

• Perform safety inspections and submit hazard recognitions and safety suggestions as needed

• Work with engineering and operations to have continuous improvement

• Operate and control units manually on controls systems

• Run & shutdown production facilities and product changeover activities

• Decontamination of equipment

• Routine analytics and taking samples

• Document and communicate work results

• Support troubleshooting of process deviations in cooperation with shift supervisor

• Fast paced and high throughput samples

Pay

• The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
