Description We are on the hunt for a Tax Director/Manager - Corporate to be an integral part of our team. Based in Urbandale, Iowa, this role is pivotal in managing income tax provisions, supporting tax planning and forecasting, and overseeing tax diligence on new acquisitions and investments. This role is in the corporate sector and is a unique opportunity to contribute to an industry-leading company.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the accurate and efficient processing of monthly income tax provisions

• Assist in the consolidation process for tax account roll-forward schedules on a monthly basis

• Prepare the quarterly tax reserve and manage estimates paid to federal and state authorities

• Review and maintain accurate records of cash tax work papers

• Contribute to tax planning and forecasting initiatives to optimize financial outcomes

• Manage and oversee tax diligence for new acquisitions and investments, leading analysis from a tax perspective

• Prepare and review property tax renderings and reports, and support all tax assessment valuations and abatements

• Leverage skills in 'Annual Income Tax Provision', 'Tax - Multi-state', 'Tax - Corporate' to ensure effective tax management and compliance. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in a corporate tax role

• Proven expertise in handling Annual Income Tax Provision

• Proficiency in managing multi-state tax operations

• Demonstrated experience in Corporate Tax

• Ability to interpret and comply with federal, state, and local tax regulations

• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various departments and stakeholders

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; Master's degree or CPA preferred

• Proficient in using tax software and other related financial systems.
