About the role

• This job requires an understanding of production software (SAP) and how to complete tasks within the program

• Must be multi tasked minded, self-motivated and a fast learner

• Must be able to lift50lbs. repeatedly

• Able to perform hourly readings of equipment. (Temperatures, Amps, volts, Steam pressure, etc..)

• Ability to keep product within specified range

Key responsibilities

• Package product from line that weighs between 18-50 lbs. per bag.

• Must be able to lift bags to place on pallets, from floor to over shoulder, repeatedly. (approx. 1 bag/minute)

• Will observe product from line for proper color, texture and smell. Examples are provided to compare to. Will notify lead or supervisor immediately if something appears incorrect.

• Completes paperwork which includes but is not limited to: move tickets that are attached to each pallet, line sheets summarizing production, animal feed tickets for sale and readings of product/equipment (when needed).

• Procuring samples from production line for testing by QA Team.

• Completing weight and metal detector checks during shift.

Qualifications and skills

• Must have a high school diploma or GED

• Must be self-motivated.

• Must be able to work both independently and in team environment.

• Must be able to tolerate physical and environmental demands of the position.

• Must have some work experience doing heavy manual labor within the last 5 years.

• Good communication skills both verbal and written.

• Previous manufacturing/food production experience preferred.
