Description:

The clinical development coordinator (CDC) assures that staff orientation, development, and competency needs are identified, met and documented within a defined service area. The CDC anticipates and prioritizes learning needs and employs flexible strategies and scheduling to meet identified needs. The CDC demonstrates and contributes to achievement of clinical excellence. The CDC leads and supports change management and contributes to operational goals, strategies, and processes in a defined service area. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne.

Position Purpose:

  • Assures that colleague orientation, development and competency needs are identified, met and documented directly acting as a consultant role with management, colleagues or other key stakeholders.

  • Develops, implements and evaluates education plans for individuals, department, and/or organization

  • Plans, coordinates and evaluates orientation programs to assure competence to deliver safe care and socialization in the department

.9 fte, day hour

Minimum Qualifications:

Masters degree preferred, MSN preferred

BSN required
