Adecco US, Inc. Maintenance Technician in Waterloo, Iowa

We have partnered to recruit for Maintenance Generalists to troubleshoot, maintain, and repair equipment and company assets associated with pork processing while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Duties include:

  • Troubleshoot facility and equipment problems that occur in the day- to-day operations.

  • Perform work that involves hydraulics, electrical, plumbing, conveyor maintenance, 3-phase wiring, AC/CD control wiring, welding, and pneumatic systems.

  • Set up, adjust, and break down production machinery. Preform scheduled preventative maintenance duties.

  • Read and understand equipment manuals and instructions. Complete daily reports and paperwork.

  • Work environments are wet and humid. Temperatures range from 35 to 90+ degrees.

  • Work includes climbing ladders, working from elevated platforms, standing, and walking on hard floors and occasional lift of 60 lbs.

  • All shifts include Sunday work and overtime as scheduled.

  • Shift is 2-2-3 overnights

  • Requirements 6+ MONTHS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED IN: (make sure experience is clearly stated on application and/or resume)

  • Mechanical troubleshooting,

  • Electrical/Electronic Troubleshooting,

  • Hydraulic Troubleshooting,

  • PLC Troubleshooting and Navigation,

  • Welding/Fabrication

  • AC/DC Control Wiring, Motor Control, 3 Phase Wiring, Plumbing, Conveyor Maintenance, Hydraulics,

  • Pneumatic systems.

These positions start at $18.85 and offer hourly rate up to $25+ after training

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
