Robert Half is hiring a Material Coordinator to join the John Deere team in Waterloo, IA! The candidate for this role will be coordinating the flow of materials and the filling of Kanhans in the department, to include shipping and receiving. A goal of this role will be to ensure production personnel has the parts needed for production.

The team has a 1st shift and 3rd shift opening for this onsite role.

First shift hours: 7a to 3:30p

Third shift hours: 11p to 7:30a

Day to day duties include:

-Coordinating department schedule performance for procuring, expediting, the movement of rejected material to source.

-Recommending procedures for specific situations that will maintain inventory accuracy and management.

-Finding root cause of material shortages and may provide recommendations for solutions.

-Utilizing the Master Schedule to create and distribute daily production schedules.

-May include the processing of transactions for inbound/outbound materials.

-Audits material replenishment cycles and accuracy and may create material replenishment plans with assistance.

-Counts and resolves inventory errors and expedites parts to ensure uninterrupted production.

-Works critical shortage reports to ensure part availability.

Safety shoes will be required on day one, as the role is a blend of being on the production floor and office work.

Requirements

Skillset we are seeking:

-Prior material coordination experience is ideal

-SAP experience would make you stand out!

-Proficiency in MS Office

-Ability to work well with cross-functional teams
