Description:
OBGYN Clinic Social Worker / Full-time (80 hours biweekly)
Provides therapeutic counseling to behavioral health population. Adheres to Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare’s performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare.
What you will Do:
Conduct assessments
Complete social histories
Provide therapy based on identified patient needs
Plans for dis-charge and after-care
Involves families in all aspects of treatment
Based on principles of growth and development, provides care appropriate to the age of patients
Adheres to all safety, infection control and employee health polies and procedures

*Minimum Qualifications: *
Master’s degree in social work
State of Iowa LISW or LMSW
Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training within 6 months of hire.
