Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Work with a computerized maintenance system to track work orders and preventative maintenance. Read and troubleshoot PLC programs. Troubleshoot mechanical systems, including bearings, gear drives, and chain drives, as well as pneumatic and fluid systems. Handle control voltage level electrical issues (24VDC), including sensors, circuit boards, and actuators. Maintain building systems such as HVAC, lighting, security, and surrounding grounds. Perform fabrication and welding assignments, as well as electrical and wiring and conduit installation.

Hard Skills

• PLC experience - diagnosing and repairing PLC issues

• AC/DC diagnostic repair

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Story City, Iowa.

Work Environment

Temperature controlled manufacturing environment. Schedule: 7a - 7p (2-2-3 rotation) 2 months days and 1 month nights. Maintenance team size: 20 across all shifts. PPE: steel toes, hair net/beard net, safety glasses, gloves.
