Scheduled hours: As needed (8 hour day shifts)
No weekends or holidays
Job Description:
Responsible for providing and delivering health care services to Great River Health employees and volunteers.
Administers immunizations, TB tests and flu shots to employees and volunteers.
Administers FMLA to employees meeting FMLA qualifications.
Performs health assessments on employees and volunteers.
Administers first aid to employees and volunteers who become ill or are injured while on duty.
Follows protocol for blood/body fluid exposures and other workplace exposures to employees and volunteers.
Maintains health records on employees. Responds to telephone calls and mail daily.
Qualifications:
PREFERRED:
2-3 years acute hospital experience
REQUIRED:
Maintains valid licensure/certification/registration
Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Iowa OR Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Iowa
