Athene Finance Internship (FP&A, Finance Transformation) in West Des Moines, Iowa

Internships will run from mid-May to early August

These are in-office internships at our West Des Moines located at 7700 Mills Civic Parkway.

Interviews and hiring decisions expect to be completed prior to mid-November, with some being completed as early as late September.

Accountabilities:

  • Students are expected to work independently and will be responsible for ownership of their portion of a project or task once they have been properly trained.

  • Students are encouraged to add value and provide recommendations for improvements to processes and systems by applying their experience and knowledge.

  • Students will maintain a log evaluating each project assigned and prepare an evaluation of the experience in order to improve the quality of future projects.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Entering Junior or Senior (3rd or 4th) year in the Fall of 2024

  • Proficient communication and organizational skills

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and a proactive approach to accomplishing tasks

  • Well-rounded and self-starter

  • Interested in pursuing a career in Finance or Accounting

  • Significant experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • PREFERRED:

  • Previous internship experience

  • Accounting/Audit/Finance Specialization
