ePathUSA Functional Business Analyst in West Des Moines, Iowa
Seeking Functional Business Analyst to provide business and analytical expertise in support of an Audit Support Integration project. Will be responsible for partnering with business to gain solid understanding of the client's objectives and knowledge of core processes. Will prepare overall designs and detailed specifications for system components along with other documentation of project deliverables such as requirements specification, design and test results.
This will be in support of a proposal rebid effort.
- Identifying business requirements:Working with clients and subject matter experts to identify and analyze business requirements
- Interpreting business requirements:Simplifying business requirements for easier analysis and decision-making
- Conducting gap analyses:Analyzing gaps and developing strategies and solutions to address them
- Communicating with stakeholders:Translating stakeholders' needs and expectations into strategies and milestones for a project
- Analyzing data:Using data analytics tools to gather, review, and analyze business and industry data to inform business decisions
- Modeling business processes:Identifying opportunities for process improvement and creating functional specifications for solutions
- Documenting processes:Maintaining documentation regarding projects, processes, and operations
- Assessing options for process improvement
- Identifying issues, risks, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions
Requirements 5+ Years of experience:
- Excellent work ethic, communication and organizational skills
- Knowledge of the interdependencies of key business processes, functions, and Story/Acceptance criteria development
- Data Analysis tools and techniques, reporting: SQL, Excel, Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with process modeling, map and analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies and propose improvements
- Ability to document, track and manage requirement
- Experience working in Agile development environment.
