Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Network Engineer in West Des Moines, Iowa. As part of our team, you'll be leveraging your skills in network design, configuration management, and network administration within the tech industry. You'll work on-site, focusing on maintaining and improving our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Handling the configuration and management of Cisco routers and other network devices.

• Ensuring the optimal performance and security of LAN and SAN protocols.

• Proactively monitoring network connectivity and implementing necessary adjustments.

• Utilizing Cisco technologies to maintain and improve network architecture.

• Applying network analysis skills to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues.

• Ensuring the efficient operation of network hardware and equipment.

• Designing and implementing network security measures, including firewalls and VPN.

• Managing network migrations and integrations as necessary.

• Leveraging automation and scripting skills for efficient network management.

• Collaborating with the team to continually improve network infrastructure. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a similar role

• Proficiency in managing Cisco Routers and utilizing Cisco Technologies is essential

• Experience in Configuration Management is required

• Must possess skills in Network Design and Cisco Networking

• Network Administration experience is necessary

• Should have the ability to perform Network Analysis

• Knowledge in Network Architecture is crucial

• Experience in Network Configuration and Network Connectivity is a must

• Ability to work with Network Devices, Network Engineering, and Network Equipment

• Knowledge of Network Infrastructure and Network integration is necessary

• Experience with Network Hardware and Network Load Balancing is required

• Must have skills in Network Migration

• Knowledge of LAN - Local Area Network and SAN - Storage Area Network is essential

• Must be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required
