Essential Functions for an Infusion Center RN:

  • Deliver high-quality professional nursing care to all types of infusion patients including immunology, cardiology, gastroenterology, oncology/hematology, and other disciplines.

  • Administer on an outpatient basis infusion therapies, monitor vital signs, change dressings, utilize electronic health records, and tend to patient needs in an efficient, but compassionate manner.

  • Coordinate patient care and demonstrate teamwork with numerous other departments and healthcare professionals to improve patient care and outcomes.

  • Appropriately provide education and support to patients and their families.

    Minimum Requirements:

    Education: RN with strong clinical background required.

    Licensure/certification:

  • Chemo Card (Required/Must obtain)

  • BLS certification

  • Heart Association required); ACLS certification; Certified

  • Registered Nurse Infusion (CRNI) certification preferred.

    Previous Work Experience:

    Minimum of 3 years RN experience in infusion services as well as Chemo experience. Must possess excellent IV skills. Experience working in a team with other nurses and healthcare providers. Respect and protect patient privacy. Uphold professionalism in the workplace.
