About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Business Execution Consultant within the Corporate Risk Regulatory Execution team on the Horizontal Governance Team. The Horizontal Governance team works with issue owners and accountable executives across the Enterprise to drive intake and planning processes for high priority issues, establish and govern expectations and associated tools and templates for managing high priority issues, and support the Financial Risk portfolio. This role will work across the regulatory portfolio, Regulatory Relations, Control Executive teams, line of business issue owners, Independent Risk Management, and Internal Audit. The role will be responsible for having a strong understanding of the current and evolving regulatory environment to be able to advise on action plans, responses, success criteria, execution status, governance expectations and collaborate across many areas in the Bank, and the ability to do deep analysis and provide strong written and verbal communication.

In this role, you will:

  • Act as a Business Execution advisor to leadership to drive performance and initiatives and develop and implement information delivery or presentations to key stakeholders and senior management.

  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex and unique challenges related to Business Execution that require solid analytical skills, extensive knowledge of Business Execution, and understanding of business, delivering longer term and large-scale solutions.

  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to senior leadership for implementing innovative and significant business solutions that are large scale and cross organizational.

  • Lead team meetings or steering committee to facilitate decision making and support implementation of recommendations and plans.

  • Strategically engage with all levels of professionals and managers across multiple lines of businesses and serve as an experienced advisor to the leadership.

  • Provide direction to a cross functional team using business expertise.

Required Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will have 7 or more years' experience as a banking regulator and/or at a large financial institution, Big 4 Public Accounting or advisory or law firm leading regulatory affairs and/or exam management activities.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Effective at building internal and external relationships with proven success collaborating with partners across the organization.

  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple responsibilities, tasks, and complex projects while meeting deadlines and achieving goals.

  • Ability to present complex material in a digestible, consumable manner to all levels of management.

  • Strong knowledge of the regulatory landscape and experience working directly with regulators.

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$120,400.00 - $250,000.00
