Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Sr. Financial Analyst in WEST DES MOINES, Iowa. The chosen candidate will be immersed in the financial industry, handling tasks related to customer applications, records, inquiries, and accounts.

Responsibilities:

• Compile and review statutory-basis filings and related supporting documentation.

• Improve existing statutory reporting processes and controls.

• Execute monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and audit procedures.

• Implement data mining techniques to gather essential business system information.

• Utilize software such as Confluence and CRM for task management and communication.

• Generate detailed reports using Crystal Reports.

• Manage accounting functions and auditing processes.

• Oversee budget processes and capital management.

• Utilize the 'About Time' software for efficient time and project management.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of life insurance and statutory financial reporting. Requirements • Demonstrable experience in business systems

• Proficiency in using Confluence

• Experience with CRM software

• Ability to create and understand Crystal Reports

• Proficiency in data mining techniques

• Familiarity with 'About Time' software

• Comprehensive understanding of accounting functions

• Experience in auditing

• Knowledge of budget processes

• Experience in capital management
