TELLIGEN Sr. Health Informatics Solutions Coordinator in WEST DES MOINES, Iowa

As a Sr. Health Informatics Solutions Coordinator, you will be responsible for Help Desk activities for CMS quality reporting and payment programs. You will collaborate with internal and external customers to address and track technical questions from healthcare providers and stakeholders regarding quality measurement, reporting, and payment program design and requirements. In addition to Help Desk support, you will perform quality assurance/quality control activities and contribute to regular reports and deliverables.

Essential Functions

  • Operational Support - Serve as subject matter expert to internal and external customers. Utilize knowledge and expertise to research and resolve issues in a timely manner and to the customer's satisfaction. Provide direction to internal team.
  • Project Tasks and Requirements Analysis - Provide input based on subject, program and product knowledge to the business and functional requirements for software products and services, including enhancements. Complete tasks and deliverables on time. Provide input to the business and functional requirements for software products and services, including enhancements based on program and product knowledge. Provide subject matter expertise to align program requirements with product requirements.
  • Documentation - Create, update, and review documentation and provide input for clarification and detail, ensuring information is accurate, thorough, and follows established processes and compliance requirements (i.e. 508 compliance standards). Identify where additional information is needed, and the most effective mode of creating and communicating that information.
  • Product/Project Validation and Delivery - Collaborate and coordinate with project leads and initiate project processes. Provide product/project level validation to identify issues and recommend changes if needed. Troubleshoot identified issues based on program knowledge and subject matter expertise. Complete tasks and deliverables on time.
  • Training - Create, review, and/or present training materials. Make recommendations for new training material or for enhancements based upon program or product knowledge and expertise. Coordinate and facilitate live or recorded training sessions. Perform knowledge-sharing presentations to internal and external customers.
  • Client Management - Assist with client needs analysis and assessment. Assist with management of client expectations and relationships.
  • Miscellaneous - Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Four year degree in business, health care, IT and/or equivalent training or experience.
  • 3+ years in related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in healthcare quality improvement, healthcare information management, and/or healthcare information technology (HIT)
  • Advanced knowledge and experience working with Windows, all Microsoft Office products and other PC-based software products.
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience with database applications, data trending/graphics and reporting tools.
  • Experience working in a deadline driven environment, handling multiple tasks.
  • Knowledge of Section 508 compliance and associated document formatting preferred.
  • Familiarity with health care system and Quality Measurement/Quality Reporting preferred.
  • Experience working in a customer support role and/or a customer service ticketing system preferred.
  • Must reside in Colorado, Iowa, or Maryland.
  • In Colorado, this role can expect to pay $57,489 to $61,084 annually. Salary will be determined with considerations of background and experience as well as internal equity.
