Description
As the Transportation Market Leader, you will help influence the direction of Shive-Hatterys growing Transportation Engineering practice. You will lead groups of people who are passionate about providing an unparalleled client experience.
Work directly with clients in our western region, particularly in Central Iowa along with newer Shive-Hattery market areas in the Omaha, Nebraska and Kansas City, Missouri regions. Existing Shive-Hattery transportation clients range from local municipalities to state departments of transportation. Recent projects completed by our transportation teams include roundabouts, storm sewers, urban roadway reconstruction, bridge replacements, pedestrian bridges and trails, traffic signals, and numerous other public improvements.

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in traffic, transportation, or bridge engineering
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering, structural engineering or related field
- Professional engineer license in Iowa or the ability to obtain license within twelve (12) months
- Experience leading people to help them be successful in their careers is required
- Experience leading project teams and interfacing with clients is required
